Bar Triton

The café- bar TRITON, one of the oldest of Ciutadella, is situated in the street Marine number 55, in a walk flanking the port. Of its walls of wood they hang photographs of those times in which the port of Ciutadella did not know the present traffic of boats, launches and other embarkations of I amuse.

In its place, the springs sheltered fishing and merchantmen that, distrusting of the news of the diesel motors, mounted still gears of candle. The sailors did of TRITON its second homes, a place to be met, to play cards, to chat and to rest.

Nowadays, when hundreds of tourists walk by for the port since the dusk until wee hours, TRITON still serves like a point of encounter for the sailors and fishermen that, around four of the early morning they begin their workday.

At the same time, the night- owl that are enjoying the night time in the night clubs and pubs nearby replace forces or rest for some minutes of the bustle and the shrill music. In the extensive terrace to the edge of the sea a card with a variety of breakfasts, covers, sandwiches, combined dishes, and desserts are served, fruit of a traditional gastronomy.
