Using Automobiles in the Balearic Islands Archipelago of Spain

Being an archipelago, the Balearic Islands is made up of the major islands of Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza, and Formentera. Majorca, being the largest island, may be the most well known and is easily accessible due to its Son Sant Joan International Airport. It is usually advisable to take the taxis from this airport to your destination.

The airport is also called formally as the Palma de Majorca Airport. If you wish to rent a car, head for the car rental companies’ offices. Be forewarned though that, you may need to know Spanish to communicate or read any instructions and contracts.
