The CANA JOANA restaurant, which is situated in a very old traditional Ibizan house surrounded by picturesque countryside, offers Mediterranean cuisine prepared from the finest Ibizan ingredients.

The chef and proprietor, Joana Biarnes, born in Barcelona, combines the delights of Catalan cookery with the refined flavours of French cuisine, producing a mouth- watering result. The passion and care which go into her dishes is easily appreciated.

Her specialties include:

- "Royal Eggs" poached and wrapped in filo pastry
- a purée of Ibizan potato fused with black truffles and a parsley coulis
- fresh skate with butter and lemon
- la cassolette au caviar d'oursins
- in season, a lobster in Joana's style
- oven baked Ibizan potatoes with pan fried fresh foie- gras
- an ox- tail cooked with red wine
- suckling lamb fillet with salsa "Biarnesa"
- and for dessert the popular yoghurt mousse with raspberry coulis.
