Rest. La Casita

La Casita is one of the more popular restaurants on the island of Ibiza. Situated in a pine- clad valley between Sta. Eulalia and Cala Llonga, thisold finca was converted into a restaurant more than 23 years ago. The austrian Johannes, who is the owner and an excellent cook, has created a special atmosphere where you can have a romantic evening, celebrate a special occasion or simply have a meal with your friends. He offers the facilities to celebrate large parties, such as weddings.

In the winter, the old part of this ibicenc finca provides a romantic atmosphere whit its soft lights and firewood chimney. You can enjoy the summer sun on the outside terraces and on the old threshing floor of the finca wich has been covered with a large tent to make a light and airy space for tables and a fountain in the centre. beside the tent is a playground for children within sigth of the eating area.
As for the food, La Casita offers an extensive variety, from typical mediterranean dishes, as the paella (to order in advance), typical meat plates or fresh fish, to meals with an austrian touch, besides those of ones own creation like the magret of duck with port wine sauce and plums. Among the first plates one finds dishes like the red baby peppers filled with fresh goat cheese on pesto. Some of the most popular plates are the meat Fondue, the snails bourguignonne in garlic butter or steak Tatar.
