Restaurante Can Pou

Can Pou” goes back to 1925 when Juan, grandfather of the current owner, started a coffee- shop and bar business in the Ibiza town old marina. Several years later, and after learning the trade in Barcelona and France, his son Vicente came back to his homeland and turned the business into a restaurant.

It was at that time the first business in town with a neon sign! The original pictures already highlight the cosmopolitan atmostphere of the city.

Years later, after perfecting their skills around the world, the grandson and great- grandson of the founder decide to renew with the family tradition.

In 1998, Juan, Daniel and Claire open the new Restaurante Can Pou in its current location of Can Germá in Sant Antoni de Portmany.

The atmostphere and cuisine at Can Pou reflect this family heritage as well as the ibicenco, scandinavian and french origines of its owners.
